ACM Manipal

ACM Manipal is the official student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) for Manipal University. ACM is the world's largest scientific and educational computing society. ACM ICPC (also referred to as the “Olympics of Programming Competitions”), and the A.M. Turing Awards, are two of ACM’s most prominent events.

ACM Manipal, is very different from any other technical club on campus because we have a flat hierarchy in place. That means that our Core Committee consists of students from all years across all branches. We believe that age cannot be considered a factor to determine one’s competency.

ASME Manipal Chapter

American Society of Mechanical Engineers is a professional association which in its own words, promotes the art, science and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe.

ASME's Manipal chapter aims to explore each domain of engineering and not just limit ourselves to just one. We have had several events,workshops and talks, none of which were based on a single domain. Rather they were ech time based on something new, something unexplored

ASCE Manipal Chapter

ASCE Manipal Chapter is a technical club run by students of MIT Manipal and is affiliated to ASCE which was originally founded in 1852 in Virgina, United States. It gives a worldwide platform for Civil Engineering students and professionals. Its sole objective is to harness the creative abilities of students and blend it with technical knowledge to bring about a difference in the field of civil engineering through activities like field trips, workshops, lectures, competitions etc.

AUC

The Akshay Urja Club, an initiative under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), seeks to provide technical input and information about new developments in the field of renewable energy to young, ignited minds. The Manipal chapter achieves this goal by organizing college events in which students can showcase their knowledge and interest in the field of green energy. Additionally, the club also holds programs to help the school children of the local community to better understand the importance of renewable energy solutions in modern technology.

BMESI

BMESI conducts technical workshops, organizes talks and lectures on various aspects of rehabilitation engineering, prosthetics, medical devices and various other aspects of engineering applications in the field of medicine, medical electronics and rehabilitation. BMESI acts as a forum in amalgamation of engineering and medicine.

Data Science Club

Data Science Club, Manipal strives to be the single focal point of overall development and growth of student community with interests in areas of data analytics, machine learning, and big data.

ESOM

The Economics and Finance Society of Manipal,was established with a vision of generating Economic and Financial understanding amongst the students of Manipal.

GDG Manipal

A group of developers who aim at encouraging budding developers to take up dev related projects, helping them understand the basics and good practices of development, and introducing them to the latest Google’s developer technologies.

IAESTE India LC Manipal

Flagship Technical Student Exchange organization of MAHE. IAESTE provides Paid Technical International Internships spanning across Science, Technology, Engineering and Management (STEM) to its members.

IECSE Manipal

Established in 2007, IECSE is the official club of the Department of CSE, MIT Manipal. Aimed to promote technical awareness amongst the college students, IECSE provides a platform for students to hone their technical skills irrespective of their field of study. One of the largest technical clubs in Manipal, it is a community of tech enthusiasts with support of its alumni members. Every odd semester, few students from I/II Year are selected as working/management committee members to handle the club activities.

The club organizes weekly workshops for programming, designing & development and is known to hold regular contests for coders & nerds alike. The annual fest Prometheus brings all the geeky minds together in a variety of competitions. IECSE boasts of huge international participation in its bi-annual scavenger hunt HawkEye/CyberHawk. Other events include PSUC/DS/OOP Workshops and Placement Talk which are held to guide the students with their academic curriculum. The club members have proved their mettle regularly in Microsoft's Code.Fun.Do., Google Summer of Code, AngelHack, ICPC and numerous other campus/national events.

IEEE Student Branch Manipal

The official student branch of IEEE which is recognized as one of the largest technical professional organization in the world for advancement of technology, it holds representatives from all engineering branches to provide the best of the knowledge and talent at one platform. Our aim here is to provide everyone with equal opportunities for overall growth and to get them connected to the biggest educational channel for exchange of ideas globally. Our efforts here are not only restricted to the intra or inter college activities but also towards the society in every possible manner.

International Society of Automation - Manipal is an organisation of engineers, technicians, consultants and corporate trainers specializing in the fields of instrumentation, control and automation engineering. We are the bridge between the students and the professional world of engineering. Using the resources at hand, we open the door to workshops, seminars, industrial visits and internships.

ISOI,the official technical club of Instrumentation and Control dept MIT,Manipal,aff. to IISc Bangalore links students and professionals through various events.

The Indian Society of Technical Education Students' Chapter, Manipal is one of the biggest multi domain clubs currently part of the plethora of clubs in Manipal. ISTE brings students across all branches under one roof to help ignite a passion in them to learn and explore the field of science and engineering

"We are a team of Information and Network Security enthusiasts who have gathered knowledge about the field through workshops, online courses, books and research. We now want to spread the knowledge we have gained to other students with an interest in this ever-growing area of computer science.

Mozilla Campus Club Manipal

Mozilla Campus Club Manipal focuses on promoting Open Source development, and is the only club working on Blockchain Development in Manipal.

We are a project centric club and our main aim is to teach our members about new and upcoming technology, and to build decentralized apps - which we believe is a step towards the future of technology.

MUTBI Student Entrepreneurship Cell

MUTBI is an initiative of MAHE supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India to provide incubation services to its students, faculty members, alumni and people of the region. The Student Entrepreneurship Cell under MUTBI represented by students from various institutions of Manipal University conducts various programs, workshops, hackathons, brainstorming sessions to create awareness about innovation and entrepreneurship.

LUG

Linux Users' Group Manipal is a technology user group based at Manipal which aims to promote FOSS and Technical knowledge. We are a group of enthusiastic people who work day and night to make sure that "The best things in life are free"

Robotics and Circuits Club

With an ardour for teaching and a penchant for breathing life into novel ideas, the term "Engineering Creativity" is an apt description of the club that looks to make strides robotics research. The club showcases it's technical acumen annually in its very own featured event, Vedanth.

SAE

The Manipal Students Chapter of Society of Automotive Engineers India mainly focuses on the following areas:

TCFG

Teach Code for Good is an organization of young computer enthusiasts from MIT who intend to make computer education available to those who lack the means to achieve such an end. We are a team of volunteer undergrads who introduce basic computer programming to students in impoverished schools. And thus are trying to build a small movement to eliminate educational inequity. We aim to integrate technology into classrooms and increase the effectiveness of learning process. Our method tries to impart knowledge and awareness, these students need in today's world to achieve their personal goals. We, at grassroot level are striving to bridge the vast gap between the quality of education prevailing in STEM fields. We are doing our 'bit' by trying to change lives one semicolon at a time.

Techcroft

Techcroft aims at improving the agricultural scenario of the country by integrating science with farming, and on bringing about a positive change in a situation where scarcity grows by the day.We may be a relatively young group, but our enthusiastic members are brimming with project ideas, ready to be tried and tested.

The Astronomy Club

The Astronomy Club is a student-run pure sciences club that organizes talks, workshops and sky-watches. Geeks and bookworms, we love holding forth on all things astronomy - from particles to planets, from quarks to black holes - and, as engineers, we tinker around on projects such as a star tracker and a radio-telescope. Our flagship events are the all-night sky-watches organised at different locations around the MIT campus, such as Hiriadka and Kundadri peak at Agumbe.
